A.M. Schilling grew up chasing water bugs and listening to the ghost stories of Central NY. Later, she could be found hanging out in the waterfalls of the Finger Lakes district, NYC, and Colorado. After a lifetime spent chasing nature, she’s gone back to her photographic roots and is making images that explore emotion and hidden truths—creating images where a tree is no longer just a tree but is something more.
